The Marvel No-Prize Book

The Marvel No-Prize Book

An editorial Goof. The Marvel Bullpen gave comic fans a "No prize" whenever they would solve a problem or a mix up in one of the Marvel Comics, so that it wouldnt seem that the writer/artist had made a mistake. In tribute to this long legacy, Marvel Comics published the No-Prize Book in 1983, in witch the biggest mistakes made in Marvel Comics up until then where published.  Think of,  the X-men Angel calling his friend "Angel" , wrong colors on hero's, goofy sayings (some of them even racist by today's standards) or misspelled names on the same page.

What If? 200

What If? 200

What If? has become a corner staple in the Marvel Universe by spotlighting "the road not traveled" by many of its heroes & villains as well as the domino effect that the point of divergence creates. What If? 200 offers two titanic tales - the main story is one with a different POV on Siege, "What If Norman Osborn Won the Siege of Asgard?" What if the Sentry didn't lose control of the Void during battle, allowing for the Siege to ultimately decimate our heroes? With Osborn on top of the world, only one force stands in his way: Doom... and he's not alone as he rebuilds the Cabal with the X-Men?! The second tale is one that will be talked about amongst the multiverse: the murder of Galactus at the hands of... the WATCHER!?

Amazing Fantastic Incredible: A Marvelous Memoir

Amazing Fantastic Incredible: A Marvelous Memoir

In this gorgeously illustrated, full-color graphic memoir, Stan Lee - the comic book legend and co-creator of Spider-Man, the X-Men, the Avengers, the Incredible Hulk, and a legion of other Marvel superheroes - shares his iconic legacy and the story of how modern comics came to be. Stan Lee is a man who needs no introduction. He has been the leading creative force behind Marvel Comics, and has brought to life some of the world's best-known heroes and most infamous villains throughout his career. Lee put the human in superhuman and in doing so, created a new mythology for the twentieth century. In this beautifully illustrated graphic memoir, illustrated by Colleen Doran, Lee tells the story of his life with the same wit, energy, and offbeat spirit that he brought to the world of comics. Moving from his impoverished childhood in Manhattan to his early days writing comics, through his military training films during World War II and the rise of the Marvel empire in the 1960s to the current resurgence in movies, Amazing Fantastic Incredible documents the life of a man and the legacy of an industry and career. This funny, moving, and honest memoir is a must-have for collectors and fans of comic books and graphic novels of every age.
