Predacon general Magmatron travels back to the era of the Beast Wars on prehistoric Earth. His mission: to pick up where Ravage failed and retrieve the rogue Megatron, but his actual plan is to gather an army from the Axalon's stasis pods and return home to conquer Cybertron. However, Leomus Prime has inserted Razorbeast into the Predacon forces to stop him. Razorbeast manages to keep some of the awakened protoforms as Maximals and then stalls for time while he tries to contact Cybertron. Finally, the new Maximals arrive in the nick of time and defeat the Predacon forces. Magmatron is trapped in a timeless void, while Razorbeast and all the other characters settle down in the past to wait and see if Cybertron got their call and send help.

On Earth, the bombastic Sideswipe is battling single-handed against the brutal Grindcore, on Corata-Vaz the Wreckers can't win against Thunderwing, but perhaps the most dramatic battle is being fought in Garrus-9 where Optimus Prime is facing Nemesis Prime, and the Autobot's lineage may find its end forever.

After the events of Escalation, Optimus is troubled by the visions of Nova Prime and his dangerous intentions. He seeks counsel of the only Autobot he trusts enough, Omega Supreme, in order to know the true nature and story of one ancient bearer of the Matrix. But things won't be easy for Optimus as a faction of Decepticons are targeting him for extinction. The effects of a hidden truth, may change the Prime lineage forever.

It starts out with Hot Rod riding on a meteor which is heading towards a moon. He thinks about how people always tell him things are impossible and he always believes there’s a way to do anything. He eventually jumps off of the meteor and crashes onto the moon by himself and although he survives, he is badly damaged by the fall. Hot Rod then flashes back to a time on Ki-Aleta when he was first put in charge of a unit. They reach a place called the Omega bunker and devise a plan to distract the omega guardians, sneak into the bunker, and secure the magnificence – a map of everything in the universe. He then flashes back to his present situation where he is trying to break into Styx – the most brutal Decepticon penal colony. He uses a virus to create false alarms around the base, sending guards everywhere at certain times, allowing Hot Rod to get by undetected. As he tries to get to the Z-Lateral cell block, more memories of Ki-Aleta come up...

And out of control are things in Corata-Vaz where the Wreckers can't stop the raw power of Thunderwing. With little time to waste, Optimus knows that the Autobots are running out of options and decides for a suicide mission into the Dead Space, unaware that inside the dead world, Nova Prime is pulling the strings for ultimate victory.

Read this issue after Devastation.Finally, Grimlock is awake but he will learn that planet Earth isn't as primitive as he saw it for the first time. Many questions are in his head. Where is he? Jhiaxus has activated his las guardian: Bludgeon.

The question to ask is what's the price a loyalist will pay for an ideal? Will Cyclonus will sell his soul and ally to the being that obliterated his planet, just to achieve the Cybetronian utopia? And how can the Autobots stop the annihilating menace that is upon them?

"The Voice" is the heart and soul among the Autobots ranks. So, it's understandable the attempt to take him out of the play in order to demoralize the troops. But the real question is not only who was close enough to pull the trigger, but who was the mastermind pulling the strings. In any case, "The Voice" will show everybody that he will never go quietly.

8162, beneth the surface of Greater Britain. Death's Head is recovered by the Chain Gang and rebuilt by Spratt. Several weeks later and on the surface Death's Head becomes a 'freelance peace keeping agent' hunting down his clients targets, never for free of course.Just don't call him a bounty hunter, yes?

The next morning, Heather Hudson contacts an unimpressed Jean-Paul, and after Jean-Paul reminds Heather he wants nothing to do with Department H or Alpha Flight, Heather tells him about Weapon P.R.I.M.E., and informs him that she intercepted a priority call that was for Department K, and she learned that a reporter is dead, and that he is the suspect for the murder.
