From the front cover (first cover on the right side of the screen) starts the story that's called Images of Tomorrow, Images of Yesterday. The second and third stories start from the back cover (second cover on the right side of the screen). The back cover stories are "The Hyena's Revenge" and "The Phantom Gorilla's From Dimension-Z".

Bridges the gap between the story arcs: "Through the Past Darkly" and "The Monster Within".

A Shadowy figure voyages in the city seeking justice. Who is he? Why is he seeking Justice, and is he even human?

In the First issue of the series we find the team, Nikki, Vance, Charlie, Yondu, Martinex and Starhawk, engaged in battle with various robotic weapons. We learn they are on the planet Courg and that the technology was put there by the Stark a race who worships Tony Stark as their god. We get a breif recap of the GotG past and after a brief battle with Taserface a scout for the Stark they encounter an entire Stark war squad!

Loki, the Norse God of mischief, floats down from space. He finds himself in the place, not knowing why and how he has come here. He senses his brother Thor, God of Thunder and hatred flows through him. He fails to detect the presence of Asgard and its ruler, all fatherOdin. Loki is initially disturbed, but knows that the right moment to rid himself of his brother is now. He speeds towards Earth.
