Shazam!: The World's Mightiest Mortal

Welcome Back, Kotter
High school sit-com "Welcome Back Kotter" was a smash hit for ABC-TV in 1975. In 1976, DC made the group of juvenile delinquents - the Sweathogs - hit the books (for a change), bringing their classroom antics into their own sit-comic. The first issue, written by Elliott S! Maggin with spot - on likenesses rendered by Jack Sparling, actually gave teacher Mr. Kotter an opportunity to transfer out of Brooklyn's James Buchanan High School. However, his wife Julie and the Sweathogs intervened.
