Impulse (1995)
Impulse starts his life in Manchester Alabama. Just before his first day of school he finds a missle testing ground and interrupts a missile testing. He then goes to school and relives his origin story. After school Max talks to him about the events before school and Impulse goes back to check on it and stumbles into a trap.

Empire
Written by Mark Waid with art by Barry Kitson and James Pascoe, Empire is an American comic book series originally published by Image imprint Gorilla Comics, Empire was acquired by DC Comics. The two Gorilla issues were reprinted in Empire #0, and were followed by a six-issue limited series. The book carries a "Suggested for Mature Readers" warning. The series has also been collected in a 208-page trade paperback.

The Southwest was bombed first, killing everyone there, and when Shadow King informed Apocalypse, he retaliated. He sent out his sea wall defense grid and destroyed all of Eurasia.
