Millie The Model was Marvel's longest-running humor title. First published by Timely Comics. Continuing through Atlas Comics to Marvel! The series ran 207 issues. A 28-year span that included Millie the Model Annuals (in 1962), one of the first Marvel Comics Annuals. She also received spin-offs including A Date with Millie Volume 1 and Volume 2, which itself continued as Life With Millie and then Modeling With Millie as well as the Mad About Millie series. Initially a humorous career-gal book about New York City model Millie Collins, it very quickly evolved into a broader, more slapsticky comedy. Though for a time becoming a romantic adventure series with all the same characters before returning to humor.

Comedy Comics (1942)
Comedy Comics was an anthology published during the 1940's, beginning with #9 (the first eight issues were published in the superhero title Daring Mystery Comics), by its sixth issue the comic began to feature Super Rabbit (who starred in several 1940's Timely Comics). As World War II was going on at the time, he would of course occasionally defeat Nazis although he would also stop regular criminals. After holding onto the title for twenty issues (and four years), with #34, Margie became the feature and with #35 the series changed its name to reflect this, becoming Margie Comics.
Comedy Comics (1948)
The second comic from Timely / Marvel to have the title Comedy Comics, the first took over the title Daring Mystery Comics in 1942 and featured funny animals, mainly one called Super Rabbit, this ended with issue 34.In 1948 the title was brought back with issue 1 this time featuring Marvel's new "working girls," strips such as Tessie the Typist, Nellie the Nurse and Millie the Model. For a time with the addision of this title Millie the Model would be outdoing Captain Ameria and the Human Torch who were by then down to only 1 title each while Millie was staring in 3 or 4 with more to come in the 50's.
