Grant Morrison's 18 Days (2015)
From legendary creator Grant Morrison (All-Star Superman, Batman & Robin, The Invisibles), comes the first chapter in his newest creation. 18 Days is the story of three generations of super-warriors, meeting for the final battle of their age, a climactic war that concludes the age of the gods and begins the age of man. "This is not a Lord of the Rings or a Star Warswhere the good guys win because they are right. The good guys in 18 Days are forced to cheat and lie and break rules to win. Although it has fantastic, mythic trappings, this is a very modern story of realpolitik and the failure of ideals in the face of harsh truth." - Grant Morrison. Main covers by Jeevan Kang and Mukesh Singh. Also available with Cosmic Krishna and Oracle variant covers, each limited to 1,000 copies.
Grant Morrison's 18 Days (2010)
From superstar creator Grant Morrison (All-Star Superman, Batman & Robin, The Invisibles) comes 18 Days, the story of three generations of super-warriors, meeting for the final battle of their age. 18 Days is a re-imagining of the great eastern myth, the Mahabharata and follows the course of the climactic war that concludes the age of the gods and begins the age of man. Godzilla: Kingdom of Monsters
Many comic book shops got variants with their own store being crushed on the cover, which I drew me to the comic. It's a great gimmick. However, inside the comic I found to be lacking. Nothing effectively happens in the issue, and there are no characters developed at all. Nuclear weaponry is used with no real consideration, and the comic effect of many different characters, at different times, saying "you have to be %$@#ing me" didn't seem funny to me in the slightest. Avoid this....

God is Dead: Book of Acts
East of West and Fantastic Four author JONATHAN HICKMAN scribes a fierce new series that stomps where others fear to tread. Mankind has argued over the existence of gods since the dawn of time. In modern eras it's been fashionable to mock religious believers with taunts of scientific testimony and fact. But when the gods of old begin to reappear on earth and claim the domain of man for their own the world is thrown into a state of utter anarchy. Now Horus walks the streets of Egypt Zeus has taken over the Sistine Chapel and Odin is coordinating the dissection of the earth among the returned deities. Mankind held sway over the world for thousands of years and their hubris over that time has made them powerful but when faced with the divine can mortal weapons put an end to the second coming of the gods?

Crossing Midnight
Mike Carey - writer of the Eisner-nominated Lucifer and Ultimate Fantastic Four - returns to the magical world of twisted horror in a new Vertigo monthly series drawn by the breakout art team of Jim Fern (Fables) & Rob Hunter (The First). In modern-day Japan, Kai and his twin sister Toshi are born on opposite sides of midnight. But that casual line in time will have disastrous effects on their lives: Their friends will go missing; commonplace knives will hide deadly secrets; and Kai and Toshi will have to save themselves and their entire family from their own horrible destinies. Set in contemporary Nagasaki, Crossing Midnight taps into Japanese and Korean horror to mix the mythology of The Sandman with the fantasy of films like Hayao's Miyazaki's Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away. Together, Mike Carey and Jim Fern come up with flights of fantasy tethered to a reality where children are stolen, innocence corrupted, and where two teenagers will have to stare down bizarre beings capable of very visceral terrors.
