A Zero Month crossover issue. Guy Gardner finds out about his true history from a “cyber-reality inducer.” Guy Gardner is a human- Vuldarian hybrid. Before the creation of the Green Lantern Corps, a race of “true warriors” called the Vuldarians dedicated themselves to fighting evil. The Vuldarians had the ability to morph their bodies into weapons and armor. Time and time again, the Vuldarians fought against the Tormocks, a race dedicated to eternal pain. The Tormocks eventually destroyed the Vuldarians home planet. The remaining Vuldarians traveled to planets, injecting their DNA into their inhabitants. Guy Gardner is the fruits of their labor: a new generation to carry on their memory.
