The Cloud
What It Is: "What is a wish?" The Cloud is a beautiful, and at times, heartbreaking journey of a reluctant hero forced to outwit a cast of colorful characters: a thieving girl, bizarre creatures from the Great Before, and the Mad King. It's a quest of self-discovery where the boy will learn that not all wishes can or should come true.

Robotech: Invid War
The original plan was do divide the Invid War series into two parts, before the Invid arrived , and the lead up to New Generation. And then a third part would cover the that saga. Malibu committed to only the first four issues, but when the reception was good, more issues were approved. And after issue eight, the series became open-ended, allowing the production staff to follow their original outline. It subsequently wrapped up at 18 issues.
