Spidey Comic
The final incarnation of Marvel UK's longest running title, originally called Spider-Man Comics Weekly, and, most recently prior to becoming Spidey Comic as of August 31st 1985, The Spider-Man Comic. By this point the title was mainly aimed at younger readers, and had minimal Marvel universe content. Spider-Man's stories were, in many instances, reprints of Spidey Super Stories, while other pages were filled with reprints of Star Comics' Ewoks, an adaptation of Disney's The Black Cauldron, and Indiana Jones (from Marvel's Further Adventures of Indiana Jones). This bizarre combination was not a strong seller, and Spidey Comics was cancelled on 14th December 1985 with issue 666.

Lena
Who is Lena? What is she up to? Does she even know her mission? Setting out from an East Berlin neighborhood that is home to former dignitaries, she goes about passing out small, innocent-seeming gifts from Budapest to Transylvania to Kiev. She crosses the Danube delta, the Black Sea, Anatolia, and the Aleppo bazaar. Each time, she crosses borders incognito, claiming to have nothing to declare. A journey at once timeless and inextricable from the great issues of our age, "Lena" combines the intimacy dear to André Juillard and Pierre Christin's predilection for vast geopolitical canvases.

The Golem's Mighty Swing
James Sturm pens this richly evocative graphic novel set in the 1920s. The Stars of David, a barnstorming Jewish baseball team, travel from town to town earning a living by playing local squads. They all sport beards, a gimmick to attract patrons but when financial difficulties threaten to end their season they cast their lot with a Chicago promoter who has just seen the hugely successful German silent film Der Golem... With the golem, a baseball game is transformed into a mythical pageant. Fear and curiosity fills the stadium, but it also stokes the flames of anti-Semitism. Winning the game for the Stars of David becomes less important then surviving it. With a sepia-tinted cinematic style, this compelling book reminds us that making it home is at the heart of baseball.

The Last of the Viking Heroes
Near the end of the 12th century, the Vikings as we know them ceased to exist. Their barbaric blood had been diluted over the centuries and they had become more civilized. Struggling to adapt in this new era and retain their strong belief in loyalty and honor in battle are the “The Last of the Viking Heroes.” These four valiant friends fight for survival in the changing times of the 12th century… Prince Sven, last of the Viking royalty, Erik, the swashbuckling Ladies’ man, Jon, the magician, and Tomgar, the half-native American warrior, cut a swath of action and adventure through mystical kingdoms of yore priding themselves on the warriors code of loyalty and honor.

"For and by war, live and die in Orc". Obeying these millennial words, the Orcs plow in steel and blood the lands that are on their way. But for several years, Elves, Dwarves and Men have joined forces to exterminate orcs and decimate this race. Today, their victory is almost total. All that remains for them is to kill their king and his last brave men. Among the survivors, an Orc does not intend to flee before the enemy. His name is Kil'Tyrson and seems the only hope. Yet his eyes are pale, a mark of cowardice for the Orcs, and in his blood flows the most infamous of vices: cunning. Could it be that the last Orc to brandish iron on a battlefield is not the best but the worst? Screenplay: Peru, Olivier. Drawing: Daxiong.
