Shazam!: The World's Mightiest Mortal
The 1970s adventures of Shazam! These new adventures combined the cartoony art of C.C. Beck, the original artist from the best-selling comics of the 1940s, with the modern, tongue-in-cheek sensibility of writers including Dennis O’Neil as the entire Marvel family reunite for all-new adventures.

Secrets of the Legion of Super-Heroes
This was DC's third foray into the world of the miniseries, and arguably its most revealing to date. A proven hit with the fans, the Legion of Super Heroes was a natural choice to follow Superman and Batman into the 3 issue mini series format. The star attraction of Superboy (who was proudly present on all covers) made the experiment even less of a risk for the company. Plotted by E. Nelson Bridwell and scripted by Paul Kupperberg, Secrets of the Legion of Super Heroes featured the art of penciller Jim Janes, inked by Dick Giordano on the 1st issue's cover. Giordano took up the pencils himself for the remaining two covers. The story centered around the Legion's mentor and financial backer R.J. Brande, who was on his deathbed due to a rare infection known as Yorrigan fever. Realizing the secret to Brande's cure could be within the Legion's computer files, Brande's old friend, Marla Latham began to research the origins of nearly every Legionairre. When he delved into the past of long term member Chameleon Boy, he found that the hero was actually Brande's son. With this major revelation out in the open, Chameleon Boy cured his father with a simple blood transfusion and began to mend a lifelong family rift.
Krypton Chronicles
Assigned by Morgan Edge to write the story of Superman's ancestry, Clark Kent found he had an extremely difficult job... even though he himself is secretly the Man of Steel. With the aid of his cousin Supergirl, but also with the help of his Uncle Zor-El and Aunt Alura -plus his cousin Van-Zee- he's struggling to uncover as much of his family background as possible in the planet Rokyn, where the bottle-city of Kandor was enlarged, before it vanishes into another dimension.
Silver Age 80-Page Giant
Even thirty-six superheroes may not be enough to save the day in this mammoth one-shot! In the 50-page(!) lead story, a nasty betrayal leaves a veritable army of heroes helpless. Can seven all-new, never-before-seen Silver Age champions turn the tide? Rounding out the special are all-new backup features and faux "reprints" from the era.

Secret Six (1968)
Writer E. Nelson Bridwell and artist Frank Springer brought together six individuals who all possessed special skills and dark secrets, and were all being blackmailed into the service of the faceless Mockingbird. The Secret Six was made up of boxing champion Tiger Force, nuclear physicist August Durant, illusionist Carlo Di Rienzi, mistress of disguise Lili de Neuve, pilot and stuntman King Savage, and femme fatale Crimson Dawn. The Secret Six's first mission was a success, with the team stopping villain Zoltan Lupus from demonstrating his weapons of mass destruction.
The Super Friends
The team started as Superman, Wonder Woman, Batman and Robin, Aquaman, Wendy, Marvin and Wonder Dog. There was a storyline in issue 7 which lasted 3 issues where the Wonder Twins (Zan, Jayna, Gleek) came to Earth to warn Earth's heroes of an impending threat by the name of Grax. This storyline included the entire Justice League and the Global Guardians. At the end of the story (Issue 9) Wendy and Marvin had captured Grax and The Super Friends said that they completed their training and were ready to become full fledged super heroes. Both kids said they were going to college and Zan and Jayna asked if the Super Friends would train them and they agreed. Many issues had morals for the Wonder Twins to learn. Issue 10 showed us that an old friend of Superman and Batman, Professor Carter Nicholls agreed to be the Guardian of Zan and Jayna and he came up with alter egos and a European Country that they came from. Also we met a group of alien heroes who tracked a beautiful woman to earth. The twins learned a valuable lesson that the monsters were the heroes and the beauty was the evil one.
Shazam! (1973)
Ending his hiatus from comics since the early 1950's, Captain Marvel made a triumphant return in his own, all-new ongoing franchise. One word - Shazam! - revived the "Big Red Cheese" and allowed him to re-emerge in print for the first time ever as a character in a DC publication.
