Buddy Buys a Dump
Buddy Bradley's back! Now in his 30s and married with child, onetime slacker hero Buddy Bradley gets a "real" job, shaves his head, dons an eyepatch, quits his "real" job and buys the local dump - because what better place to raise a toddler? Peter Bagge's iconic character is to alternative comics what Homer Simpson has been to television animation over the past quarter-century: a generation-defining slacker and the greatest comedic character of its form and era. Featuring stories originally published in the comic book series Hate Annual from 2000-2011, as well as an all-new 20-page conclusion to the story arc.

Everybody Is Stupid Except for Me and Other Astute Observations
Although a libertarian by inclination (hence the Reason gig), Bagge (who lives in the fuzzy-headed, liberal capital of the Northwest, Seattle) is hardly dogmatic, and many of the pieces undermine traditional party lines in favor of a rather personal, rational and informed take on hot-button issues that will force partisan Democrats and Republicans alike to rethink them. And of course, Bagge’s well-researched comic strip “essays” crackle with the same energy and wit that propelled him into the collective Gen X consciousness with his comic book series Hate...

Woman Rebel: The Margaret Sanger Story
Peter Bagge's Woman Rebel: The Margaret Sanger Story is a dazzling and accessible biography of the social and political maverick, jam-packed with fact and fun. In his signature cartoony, rubbery style, Bagge presents the life of the birth-control activist, educator, nurse, mother, and protofeminist from her birth in the late nineteenth century to her death after the invention of the birth control pill. Balancing humor and respect, Bagge makes Sanger whole and human, showing how her flaws fueled her fiery activism just as much as her compassionate nature did. Sanger's life takes on a whole new vivacity as Bagge creates a fast-paced portrait of a trailblazer whose legacy as the founder of Planned Parenthood is still incredibly relevant, important, and inspiring.

Startling Stories: The Megalomaniacal Spider-Man
In this self-contained one-shot, indie legend Peter Bagge (Hate) offers his own unique spin on everyone's favorite web-spinner! THE STORY: Shortly after he was bitten by a radioactive spider that gave him his strange powers, Peter Parker failed to stop a burglar fleeing from police. When that man went on to murder Peter's beloved Uncle Ben, Peter took it upon himself to atone for his sin of inaction, adopting a mantra instilled in him by his Uncle: "With great power must also come great responsibility." But what if Uncle Ben wasn't all he was cracked up to be? What if he was nothing more than a lout and a con artist? What road might Peter travel if his life had been guided by a different mantra: "Look out for number one"?

Buddy Does Seattle
These legendary stories, from the classic first fifteen issues of Bagge's Hate comic, are a defining icon of Seattle's early 1990s culture, as well as Generation X in general. This is the first time these hilarious stories, starring the hapless Buddy Bradley and his cast of loser cohorts, have ever been available under one cover, and never have they been available at such a low price! Bagge's riotous tales of the early 1990s subculture are more hilarious now than ever, and find out why he has been praised by R. Crumb, Matt Groening, John Kricfalusi, Publishers Weekly, Entertainment Weekly and many more as a comedy genius.

Apocalypse Nerd
Imagine yourself in a post-apocalyptic world, where all the creature comforts that you've spent an entire lifetime taking for granted were suddenly gone for good. How do you see yourself reacting to such a situation? Would you "suck it up" and be stoically content? Or would you spend most of the time cursing your fate? We all like to picture ourselves as the former, though the latter is probably a more accurate portrayal - and that's exactly what our "hero" is like in Peter Bagge's new miniseries. MARVEL as our protagonist, an asthma ridden, myopic former middle manager for a software company, has his limited survival skills continually put to the test, only to continually come up short! THRILL as his dumb childhood friend Jeff Beasley bullies him around, as he abuses his new found status as the undisputed alpha-male of the two! CRINGE as what's left of human civilization continually deteriorates around them, and they along with it! Each issue will also feature a back up story detailing poignant yet humorous anecdotes about America's Founding Fathers. Finally, George Washington and his gang will be starring in comics of their own!
Hate
Meet Buddy Bradley, the alternative hero living, loving (but mostly bumming) around Seattle with his pals Stinky and George. The series starts off with a tour of their shared home, the perfect place for some serious drinking and thinking.
Genre: Slice of Life
Other Lives
Meet three certified geeks: a self-loathing journalist who has a seemingly normal girlfriend, a conspiracy theorist who still lives with his mother and an unemployed gamer who lives in his car. These strangely likable misfits find that dark personal secrets can sometimes be a virtue in OTHER LIVES, a hilarious original graphic novel by award-winning creator Peter Bagge (Hate). The story also explores people's identities, both real and created, and how the two become confused and conflated through the Internet and role-playing games.
